The school provides its students an opportunity to join the National Cadet Corps, inculcating in them a sense of discipline and patriotism. National Cadet Corps has Army wing in our school for the cadets of IX & X which assists the cadets to develop their personality and become disciplined citizens of the country.
The cadets stay back after school on Saturdays for their classes. Selected NCC cadets participate in the RDC and combined annual NCC camp. They represent the school on Independence Day and Republic Day parade.
Recruitment:
Recruitment into the NCC happens during the start of every session. The procedure is common for all the enthusiastic students willing to join. Few rounds of the recruitment will be endurance test, fitness test, group discussion and interview.
Training:
The selected cadets will be given training that includes Parade, Running, Technical Education, Arms Drill, games and many other disciplines. The training will be conducted by the PI staff with the help of senior cadets. The attitude of the cadets is well groomed so that they become well-furnished citizens.
NCC Incharge :
NSS
In pursuance of the National Scheme to inculcate feeling of service towards nation and understanding of national priorities amongst youth a vision of National Service Scheme came in to existence. In accord with it NSS units in institutions like us functioning devotedly and dedicatedly .Presently we are running two unit of NSS in which students participate enthusiastically in various activities, i.e. awakening of rural and local people regarding environmental issues, conducting surveys on various important
parameters, issues concerning health etc. NSS volunteers participate in day and day and night camps and can appear for NSS A, B or C certificate examination.
